1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Luster ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Luster is operated by Two Pizzas LLC.
2. Description of Service
Luster is a precious metals collection management platform that allows you to catalog, track, value, and document your collection. The Service includes collection management tools, live spot price tracking, AI-powered identification and research features, and optional public sharing.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
4. Your Data
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on Luster, including collection records, photos, notes, and any other data you provide.
You grant Luster a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service. This includes sending item data to our AI provider (Anthropic) for identification and research features when you use those features.
When you create a public showcase link, you grant Luster a non-exclusive license to display that content to anyone who accesses the link. This license ends when you revoke the showcase link.
You can export all your data at any time and delete your account at any time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
- Misrepresent your identity or the authenticity of items in your collection for fraudulent purposes
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Luster offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Clerk Billing (powered by Stripe). You can cancel at any time — your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
Luster does not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If the Service experiences extended downtime, we may, at our discretion, issue service credits.
7. AI Features Disclaimer
Luster's AI features (identification, research agents, enrichment) are provided as informational tools only. AI-generated information may contain errors or inaccuracies.
AI results should not be relied upon for investment decisions, insurance valuations, authentication, or grading. Always verify important details with qualified professionals.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service — including its design, code, brand, and documentation — belong to Two Pizzas LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service, except as permitted by law.
9. Spot Prices and Valuations
Spot prices are provided by metals.dev and are for informational purposes only. Valuations calculated by Luster are estimates based on melt value and user-configured strategies. They do not constitute financial advice, appraisals, or guaranteed market values. Actual sale prices may differ significantly.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Luster does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Two Pizzas LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration will take place in the State of Maryland. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, you can export your data before deletion. After account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Subject to the arbitration provision above, any litigation shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Two Pizzas LLC regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
18. Assignment
Two Pizzas LLC may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
19. Force Majeure
Two Pizzas LLC shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or internet service disruptions.
